Stopperless Salt Shaker

Tip upside down to fill with a few tablespoons of salt then slowly turn right side up. Salt is dispensed when shaken in an upright position.

Add a few uncooked grains of rice to keep salt from clumping. If clogged, put in oven at 250° for 20 minutes. Do not submerge in water.

Hanging a Mise en Abime sculpture.

if you are fortunate enough to have the piece centered on a stud, simply use a 2” screw.

if not, (wallboard )use a toggle bolt. make sure it is large enough to carry the weight of the piece.

the piece itself has a ridge on the back which will support the piece being hung directly on on the screw. I recommend using a spot where the folds begin as the edge there is thicker and deeper.

Hanging a strip sculpture on the wall

Each of the feet have holes which wire can pass through to be used to hang the piece. A short loop of wire is provided with each piece. It can be shortened if necessary. You can move the wire loop to a different foot if you prefer a different orientation. The other two feet will nicely stabilize the piece as it hangs from a single loop. You can also string a length of wire between two feet, though it might be harder to find comfortable balance point on the one remaining foot.

Where art Lives: sometimes it takes a while to hear back from a customer but it is worth the wait !

“Thomas, Sorry this has taken me 2 and 1/2 years since the Ann Arbor Art Fair to get pictures, but here are some pictures of Dubai the Dragon at home, sitting above the bay window in our dining room.
Unfortunately, a straight on shot would be through the chandelier, but it’s a small one so you definitely see him over the chandelier when you enter the room. Sorry again for the delay but hope you like his home, John

“… and now with the pictures :-)”
